About Prints and Handling
A print is undoubtedly the best way to appreciate a photographic image. All images on this site are available as prints on paper, canvas, and metal. However, not all photos may be available in all sizes or on all materials listed on the “Print Pricing and Ordering” page.
Print Size and Availability
Maximum sizes may vary from one image to the next. Many factors are taken into consideration when determining the maximum size of a print including digital format, aspect ratio, resolution, and other conditions and settings at the time of capture. Images will only be printed at sizes that meet our high expectations for quality and detail throughout.
Images are printed on ready-to-hang stretched museum wrapped giclée canvas. Canvas prints are UV-resistant. Most images on this site are available on canvas, with exceptions noted above.
Images are infused into the surface of an aluminum panel and coated with a UV-resistant gloss coating. The result is a high-definition, superb quality metal print with unbeatable color, definition, and contrast. Printing on metal provides extreme sharpness, brightness, and color saturation with an intense black density that increases its appeal. Metal prints are perfect for display in a variety of settings and environments. Most images on this site are available on metal, with exceptions noted above.
To purchase a print, go to the “Online Store” page, select the image you would like to purchase, note its name and number, go to the “Print Pricing and Ordering” page found under “Online Store”, complete the order form and submit your order. We are unable to accept credit cards or PayPal. Please mail a check or money order in the amount stated on the “Print Pricing and Ordering” page payable to Dan Grider to the following address:

Shipping and Handling
We will notify you of approximate shipping date when we receive your order. Shipping within the USA is included in all price quotes. If you are outside of the USA and would like to order a print, send us an email with the specifics and we will let you know about shipping costs. We use standard UPS ground or FedEx for shipping orders. All print-only images that are smaller than 20x30 will be shipped flat, and all images over this size will be shipped rolled in a protective tube. Your artwork will be carefully wrapped to protect the print. Please take great care in removing the print from its packaging. Shipping and handling charges are included in the price of the print quoted on the “Print Pricing and Ordering” page.
Mounting and General Care
Your print is an investment and these simple care instructions will help you enjoy it for a lifetime:
Handle the print on it's edges and use two hands to prevent bending of the print. Cloth gloves are recommended for handling.
Photographic dyes, like all dyes, can change with time and exposure to sunlight, ultraviolet radiation, excessive heat, and high humidity. To help prevent changes in photographic dyes, follow these guidelines:
Illuminate prints with tungsten light whenever possible.
Display prints in the lowest light level consistent with your viewing needs.
If a print is exposed to direct or indirect sunlight or fluorescent light, use an ultraviolet-absorbing filter (such as glass) between the light source and the print.
If prints are displayed behind glass, maintain a slight separation between the prints and the glass.
Keep the temperature and humidity as low as possible.
Heat mounting can destroy or compromise critical properties of the printed material and image. Therefore, we recommend that you consider using a professional framer and/or the use of cold contact-type adhesive or cement when adhering the print.
We work with color calibrated monitors and software and have optimized our print preparation process to match the images as seen on our monitors. However, monitors vary widely in quality and even professional-grade monitors can be calibrated to different settings. Our prints should closely resemble the image as seen on your monitor when viewing our website, but we cannot guarantee that our prints will match the image on a monitor with which we have not worked. If you are unhappy with your print, we offer a return policy (see below).
Damaged deliveries - Great care is taken to wrap and pack your print carefully to avoid any damage in transit. However, if damage does occur, we ask that you contact us as soon as possible. We will then arrange return of the damaged print and replacement immediately.
Dissatisfaction with prints - We will accept returns for a full refund (not including shipping costs) for 14 days from the date of delivery if you are dissatisfied with the print. You are responsible for the cost of shipping the print back to us, including the cost of insuring it for the full retail value, and the print must arrive in saleable condition for a refund to be issued.
Image Licensing and Large Orders
In addition to our printing services, we offer digital image licensing. The licensing arrangement grants the buyer/licensee the right to use the image one time, for one photographic print, or one website image, or one client (wall décor display or client website). If you are interested in licensing an image, please send us an email at email@example.com or use the contact page of our website with as many details as possible (type of usage, print run, placement on website, size/resolution, period of license, exclusivity, etc.) so we can provide you with a quote.
If you are a charity, educational organization, or not-for-profit organization, you are also welcome to contact us and we will consider a reduced fee.
We also offer significant quantity discounts for corporate offices or any other business or organization interested in acquiring multiple prints. If you are interested in making a large purchase for your office space, please contact us directly for details.
